Archived Being and Being Archived

Archived Being and Being Archived is an immersive installation in which I presented various archival documents about myself in a simulated office environment. Its title reflects the dual experience of both the archivist and the archived, drawing a parallel between personal identity and the dynamics of social media and dating apps, where access to another person's information often requires surrendering information about yourself.

Inside the sealed envelopes and folders was information held by me or by various institutions about me. Visitors were invited to participate in the installation by first filling out a contact form and signing a contract. A surveillance camera recorded everyone entering the space, while a prominent warning sign reinforced the theme of constant observation.
