What does rejection do to a body?

I collected every response letter I received to open calls and grant applications in 2024 and 2025, 38 in total. During KopCafé #4, I invited the audience to come forward one by one to read a (shortened) response letter, in random order. For every rejection, I removed an item of clothing. For every acceptance, I put all the clothing I had removed so far back on.

This performance could be stopped at any time by me or the audience if I or someone in the audience felt it was going too far. Otherwise, this performance continues until there are no more items of clothing or letters.
